Running, cycling, triathlon, or other intense sports: this pack is ideal for discovering the range, varying flavors during prolonged efforts, and identifying your favorites.
A pack to discover all Amacx Drink Gel flavors
Repeating the same flavor can become tiring during long sessions. With this Amacx Energy Drink Gel pack, you enjoy the 5 Drink Gel flavors offered in the range.
The bundle lets you vary the flavors throughout training sessions and competitions while maintaining a similar energy format.
The flavors are designed to offer smooth and refreshing, particularly useful as the hours of exertion add up.
30 g of carbohydrates in every liquid gel
Each 60 ml Amacx Drink Gel provides 30 g of carbohydrates.
Carbohydrates help maintain performance during prolonged endurance exercise. With a precisely defined amount per gel, it also becomes easier to calculate your hourly energy intake.
Depending on your needs, you can integrate one or more Drink Gels into your nutrition strategy and combine them with other carbohydrate sources.
Glucose/fructose ratio of 2:1
The gels in the pack are based on several carbohydrate sources with a 2:1 ratio, namely:
2 parts glucose to 1 part fructose.
This combination makes it possible to incorporate Drink Gels into a carbohydrate strategy intended for prolonged efforts while benefiting from a compact format that is easy to consume.
200 mg of sodium per Drink Gel
In addition to its 30 g of carbohydrates, each gel contains 200 mg of sodium.
Sodium is an electrolyte lost through sweat. Its presence combines an energy supply of carbohydrates and sodium in a single product, which is particularly relevant during endurance training and competitions.
The total amount consumed should be adapted to your sweat rate, weather conditions, and the other hydration products used during the activity.
A ready-to-drink energy gel requiring no water
The distinctive feature of Amacx Drink Gel is its liquid consistency. Water is already incorporated into the product, allowing it to be consumed directly.
You therefore have no need to drink water immediately with the gel.
This feature is particularly convenient when intensity increases and it becomes difficult to chew a bar or handle several products at the same time.
The Drink Gel format may be particularly useful:
- while running when the heart rate is high;
- while cycling during a climb or at the end of an intense ride;
- during a competition;
- during breaks or changes in certain team sports;
- when solid food becomes less practical.
Usage advice
Drink Gels can be consumed just before or during an intensive training session or competition.
Amacx recommends:
1 to 3 Drink Gels per hour of exercise, according to your individual carbohydrate needs.
Since each gel provides 30 g of carbohydrates, this represents:
| Consumption |
Carbohydrate intake |
| 1 gel |
30 g |
| 2 gels |
60 g |
| 3 gels |
90 g |
Adjust your intake to the duration and intensity of the activity, your digestive tolerance, and the other sources of carbohydrates consumed during exercise.
