A standardized, fruity shot rich in plant-based nitrate from beetroot and amaranth. Once converted into nitric oxide (NO), nitrate increases the supply of oxygen to the muscles and promotes muscle contraction. This improves both your endurance and sprint performance.
-
Standardized nitrate shot : provides an effective dose with every serving.
-
With beetroot & amaranth : known for their high nitrate content.
-
With vitamin C : helps counter unwanted nitrosamine formation.
-
Ready to drink : compact and easy to use.
-
Tested for banned substances : ensures the highest level of safety.
- Available in natural fruit punch flavor.
The oxidation of fats and carbohydrates accounts for more than 90% of muscle energy production during maximal exercise lasting ≥5 minutes. This energy supply process requires an adequate intake of oxygen (O2), which is nevertheless limited. It is therefore crucial to optimize oxygen efficiency during endurance exercise. Research indicates that nitrate supplementation, for example in the form of beetroot juice, can improve oxygen efficiency. Nitrate intake does indeed increase the blood’s nitric oxide (NO) content. NO is a potential additional pathway for supplying muscle cells with oxygen atoms (O). NO also plays an important role in the exercise-induced increase in muscle blood flow. In addition, some findings indicate that NO can facilitate calcium release in muscle cells, which may help develop maximum power. It is now well established that nitrate consumption can improve endurance performance by 1 to 5%, and perhaps sprint power output as well.
Available studies indicate that the optimal dose is 400 to 600 mg. Nitrate is in fact a natural ingredient in edible plants, especially green leafy vegetables and root vegetables. However, the nitrate content of vegetables varies and is often unknown. By contrast, 6D Nitrate Shot always contains 500 mg of nitrate from beets and red spinach. Excessive nitrate consumption can nevertheless be harmful to health. Therefore, the recommended dosage should be followed, and use of this product should be limited to peak performance during important competitions. There is no evidence that consuming nitrates at the recommended doses and in combination with vitamin C (such as 6d Nitrate Shot) can negatively affect health. However, taking 6d Nitrate Shot may cause red discoloration of the urine due to the natural presence of red pigments in beets, which is harmless.
6D Nitrate Shot is the ideal natural supplement for improving your performance in endurance competitions and potentially your sprint performance.
Directions for use:
Take 1 dose 2 to 3 hours before the competition. Highly trained endurance athletes are advised to take 1 to 2 additional doses per day for 3 to 7 days before the competition. Shake before use.
Avoid mouthwash or chewing gum for optimal effect. The conversion of nitrate (NO3) into nitric oxide (NO) requires an abundance of normal bacteria in the oral cavity. Therefore, using 6d Nitrate Shots is not meaningful for people who use antibacterial chewing gum or mouthwash solutions.
