Frugal Energy Mix (2 kg): Make 80 Homemade Energy Gels, From €0.69 Each
The 2 kg bag of Frugal energy mix lets you prepare the equivalent of 80 high-performance gels yourself in just a few minutes. Formulated according to the glucose-to-fructose ratio recommended for endurance, this mix is prepared at home and carried in a reusable flask. This format includes one free 60 ml reusable flask and one free 100 ml flask. The goal: energy nutrition as effective as store-bought gels, without the price or disposable packaging.
The 1:0.8 Scientific Protocol
Frugal is based on a maltodextrin-to-fructose ratio of 1:0.8, which simultaneously activates the two intestinal absorption pathways, SGLT1 and GLUT5. This research-validated protocol, developed with dietitians, makes it possible to consume more than 90 g of carbohydrates per hour without overloading the stomach. The gel-like structure of the mix also limits the taste fatigue associated with the high carbohydrate concentration.
A Complete System, Not Just a Powder
Each bag comes with precise instructions: powder-to-water measurements, refrigeration time for setting, and reusable flasks for transport. Athletes only need to adjust two things: the texture and the flavor, which can be customized with additions such as coffee, cocoa, or fruit syrup.
Up to 4 Times Cheaper, Up to 70% Less Plastic
Designed and prepared in France, Frugal lets you make a high-performance gel from €0.69 each with this format (€55.00 per bag), compared with an average of €3 for a store-bought gel, while reducing disposable packaging by approximately 70%.
Directions for Use
