Pyrene UltraBidon X Elite (750 ml): precise measuring in the saddle
The UltraBidon® X Elite is Pyrène Performance’s graduated version of the Fly bottle from Italian equipment maker Elite, described by the brand as the lightest bottle in the world. Its 750 ml capacity covers long rides without requiring frequent stops, and the markings printed on the bottle let you prepare an energy drink to your desired proportions without a scale.
A container designed as a measuring instrument
Most bottles simply carry liquid. Pyrène Performance added measurement markings to this one so that the amount of powder and volume of water can be replicated from one ride to the next. This is essential for a nutrition protocol that can be tested, adjusted, and repeated.
The foundation: Elite’s Fly bottle
Pyrène Performance uses the Fly model from Italian manufacturer Elite, renowned for its light weight. The flexible body is easy to squeeze, making it easier to hold and replace in the bottle cage while riding.
Usage tips
- Fill to the marking for your desired water volume;
- add a serving of DrinkMix or electrolytes, then shake until fully dissolved;
- rinse with clean water after every ride, whether or not the drink was sweetened.
