6d Ultra Chew – High-Performance Energy Gelled Bar
An energy bar designed for ultra-endurance
The 6d Ultra Chew is a high-carbohydrate gelled bar specially developed for endurance athletes engaged in efforts lasting 3 hours or more. Its formulation provides a substantial amount of energy while remaining easy to consume during exercise.
Thanks to its soft texture and practical format, it easily fits into a nutritional strategy targeting high carbohydrate intake.
45 g of carbohydrates per bar
Each 6d Ultra Chew constitutes one Ultra Unit, meaning:
- 45 g of carbohydrates per bar
- a rapidly available source of energy
- an intake suited to long distances and demanding competitions
This high concentration helps optimize energy intake while limiting the number of products to carry.
An optimized carbohydrate ratio
The 6d Ultra Chew uses a 1:1 carbohydrate ratio, designed to be combined with products featuring a 2:1 ratio to optimize carbohydrate absorption.
This nutritional strategy enables trained athletes to aim for an intake of up to 90 to 120 g of carbohydrates per hour during prolonged efforts.
A gelled texture that is easy to consume
Unlike some traditional bars, the 6d Ultra Chew has a soft, melt-in-the-mouth texture that makes it easy to consume even as intensity increases.
Its benefits:
- easy to chew;
- gradual consumption;
- good digestive tolerance;
- ideal during long outings.
Two portions for gradual intake
The bar is divided into 2 portions, making it easy to adapt your energy intake throughout your effort.
This design makes it easier to manage your nutrition strategy without having to consume the entire bar at once.
A caffeinated Cola version
The Cola flavour contains 75 mg of caffeine, providing additional support during key moments of exercise.
This version is particularly popular for:
- the final kilometres of a competition;
- long climbs;
- the stages when concentration and alertness become essential.
Tested for banned substances
The 6d Ultra Chew is tested for banned substances to provide a high level of safety for athletes competing in events.
Usage advice
During exercise:
- consume 1 to 2 bars per hour depending on:
- the duration of the activity;
- the intensity of the effort;
- your overall carbohydrate intake strategy.
Can be combined with other products in the 6d Sports Series range to customise your nutrition plan.
