Directions for use
Drink before you feel thirsty
For low-intensity, short-duration exercise (less than 60 minutes), as long as you follow a healthy, balanced diet and drink plenty of water before starting, there is no real need to replace electrolytes before, during, or after your session.
If you are a “salty sweater” (your sweat stings, tastes salty, or leaves a white residue on your skin or clothing), we suggest an additional rehydration supplement.
- Mix one 7 g sachet with 500 ml of cold water and shake well. Consume within 24 hours. Easy.
- 500 ml 1–2 hours before prolonged or intense exercise
- 150–200 ml immediately before starting
- 500–750 ml per hour during prolonged exercise
- 500 ml within 20 minutes of finishing exercise
For endurance exercise lasting more than 60 minutes, it is important to replace fluids, electrolytes, and calories if you want to avoid the effects of dehydration and fatigue.
