Overstim.s (often written as Overstim’s or Overstims) is a French sports nutrition brand founded in 1982 in Morbihan, Brittany. This family-owned company makes its products in France and is known for Gatosport, its pre-race cake created in 1983.

The story began with a constraint familiar to runners: eating early enough before a race. Frédérique de Saint-Ouen says Gatosport was created to avoid having to get up at dawn. The idea: a highly digestible energy cake to be eaten up to an hour before exercise, with water, tea, or coffee. It has become the company’s flagship product.

Based in Plescop, north of Vannes, Overstim.s has its own production facility. The brand has partnered with the Paris Half Marathon since 2012 and lists cyclist Warren Barguil, marathon runner Dominique Chauvelier, and trail runner François D’Haene among its ambassadors.
