Meet the members of this team that we will be supporting.
Simon Semes:
"My original sport is cycling, which I competed in for 8 years. I then decided to turn to running, which very quickly became my main sport. Personal bests of 34:37 for 10 km and 1:14:24 for 20 km. For the past year, I have developed a taste for triathlon, in which I plan to invest more."
Nicolas Navet:
" Passionate about sport from an early age, I started with football. Then, thanks to my endurance abilities, I quickly turned to running through the Gaume Allures Libres races and later the ACDampicourt athletics club, competing in age-group middle-distance and cross-country events in winter. Following a growth-related knee problem, I turned to cycling and the Ardenne Gaume races with Team Liégeois. I returned to my passion for running after my physiotherapy studies, with some success: victories in provincial cross-country races, three-time winner of the Beckerich half marathon, and two-time winner of the 20 km of Marche-en-Famenne. Currently leading the provisional overall standings in the Delhalle Challenge, I intend to consolidate my position in the two remaining rounds. Plenty of projects are planned for the coming years. My thirst for discovery, self-improvement, and competitive spirit are leading me toward a duathlon project in 2019, combined with an autumn marathon. All of this within Team Jogging Lux, created in a spirit of camaraderie and sporting friendship."
Malory Boland:
"I started playing sports at a very young age (swimming, judo, athletics) before finally discovering tennis, which I played for 10 years. I started running about 5 years ago with my brother-in-law ( Nicolas Navet ), who helped me progress with his training plans. At present, I am already happy with my progress. I have run several 20 km races, half marathons, and a marathon in Amsterdam. I have also been doing CrossFit in Rochefort for two and a half years. An ideal week for me consists of 3 running sessions and 3 CrossFit sessions. Combining these two sports allows me to be a well-rounded athlete: I work on my cardio through running and on strength training and core stability through CrossFit. My next goals are CrossFit competitions and repeating the marathon experience."
Arnaud Goffinet:
"I am 25 years old. I started playing sports at a fairly young age with football, then turned to athletics. I won my municipality's sporting merit award thanks to several results in the junior categories, notably in provincial cross-country races, the Gaume Allures Libres races, and more official events such as the Brussels 20 km. For the past two years, I have been focusing more on triathlon because of the variety it offers in training. My future goals are mainly centered on this discipline, including preparing for an Ironman in 2020."
Tristan Carnevali: "I focus on run-and-bike competitions and Gaume Allures Libres races, and I am also getting into triathlon, with the X-Terra in Longemer this year and the one in St-Léger coming up in September"
