Lecka, sports nutrition made with real fruit
Lecka was founded in 2020 by Markus Gnirck, a German trail runner living in the highlands of Vietnam. The brand is athlete-owned, with no outside investors, and builds its recipes around the fruit itself rather than flavoring: 37% passion fruit in the Passion Fruit Gel, 57% dried banana in the Banana Cinnamon Bar.
Made where the fruit is harvested
The products are made right where the fruit is harvested. The bananas and passion fruit used in the gels go from farm to packaged product in less than 18 hours. No artificial flavorings, no sweeteners, and no added refined sugar in the bars and minis.
Four formats
- Energy Gel (40 to 44 g): quick energy and electrolytes during exercise, 5 flavors;
- Ultra Gel (102 to 108 g): 260 to 315 kcal and 60 to 65 g of carbohydrates per sachet, designed for ultra-distance events;
- Energy Bar (40 g): dried fruit, seeds, and brown rice syrup, 4 flavors;
- Energy Mini (20 g): the same recipes in bite-size form, 3 flavors.
The entire range is gluten-free, and most products are vegan. The Lime Ginger and Kumquat Honey gels contain honey.
