Who invented the energy gel?
Squeezy says it developed the first energy gel, with 25 g of carbohydrates per serving, designed for efforts lasting more than 60 minutes. The American brand GU also claims to have invented it. What’s certain is that Squeezy is one of the pioneering brands in this format, and it also launched the first maltodextrin-based fruit chew.
Less packaging
Since 2020, Squeezy has been updating its packaging: sugarcane pots, recyclable monofilms, and paper bags. The 500 ml refills, which you pour into a flask, reduce the number of sachets.
Which Squeezy product should you choose?
- Energy Gel (33 g): lemon, banana, raspberry, orange-peach, salted caramel, basic formula, and cola or lemon with caffeine.
- Liquid Energy (60 ml): thinner consistency, raspberry, watermelon, basic formula, lemon with caffeine.
- Energy Gel Refiller (500 ml): the economical refill, lemon or banana.
