NeverSecond

NeverSecond is a sports nutrition brand launched in 2021. Its C-Series names each product according to its grams of carbohydrates (C30 = 30 g, C90 = 90 g). Its products were the exclusive nutrition provider for the Jumbo-Visma team during the 2022 Tour de France.

A system in 30 g increments

The entire C-Series is built in 30 g carbohydrate increments: a C30 gel, a C30 drink, and a C90 drink. To target 60 or 90 g per hour, combine them. C30 gels combine maltodextrin and fructose in a 2:1 ratio and contain 200 mg of sodium. They have a thin consistency, a mildly sweet taste, and can be taken with or without water.

Tested for elite-level sport

NeverSecond was founded on an idea from four endurance athletes. Its gels are tested for banned substances by Informed Sport, and the brand supplied Jumbo-Visma during the 2022 Tour de France, won by Jonas Vingegaard.

Which NeverSecond product should you choose?

• C30 Energy Gel (60 ml): 30 g of carbohydrates, 200 mg of sodium.
• C30+ caffeinated Energy Gel (60 ml): 30 g of carbohydrates and 75 mg of caffeine, in espresso, cola, berry, passion fruit, or unflavoured.
• C30 Energy Drink (32 g single serving or 640 g tub): 30 g of carbohydrates per serving.
• C90 High Carb Drink (94 g): 90 g of carbohydrates per serving for long efforts.
• P30 Recovery Drink (600 g): 30 g of protein per serving.
