Why an energy bar?
When doing sports, it is important to anticipate the energy slump and boost your energy before it is too late. To do this, your body needs:
- CARBOHYDRATES: to maintain your glucose level without drawing on your reserves (muscles and liver) and thus extend the duration of your effort
- VITAMINS AND MINERALS:
- vitamin B1, which contributes to normal energy metabolism
- zinc, which helps combat oxidative stress
- magnesium, which helps reduce fatigue
- sodium, which contributes to the proper distribution of water in the body
Directions for use:
- During exercise: take one bar every 45 minutes to 1 hour of exercise. It can be used as an alternative to energy gels
- Before or after exercise: take one bar as an energy-boosting snack
