Maurten Mix 160 is a hydrogel composed of natural alginate, pectin, electrolytes, and carbohydrates.
Each serving of Drink Mix 160 (kcal) contains 40 grams of carbohydrates.
It can be used before, during and/or after activity.
Its taste is neutral.
ENERGY AND CARBOHYDRATES
During exercise, our body can consume up to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour.
One serving of Drink Mix 160 mixed with 500 ml of water provides 40 grams of carbohydrates.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Drink Mix 160 is made using HYDROGEL technology.
Mixing with water produces a highly concentrated drink containing maltodextrin and fructose, which instantly transforms into a hydrogel in the acidity of the stomach. The hydrogel slowly carries the drink through the stomach to the intestine, where the water, salt, and carbohydrates are absorbed.
Directions for use
- Mix the contents of each sachet with 500 ml of water and shake well until dissolved.
- Be careful; you must use the correct ratio for the hydrogel technology to work.
- The mix is designed to be mixed with water containing less than 80 mg/L of calcium. Higher levels may affect how it dissolves.
- Consume sports drinks a few minutes before, during and/or immediately after activity. Consume within 24 hours.

Maltodextrin (65%), fructose (32%), pectin (<2%), sodium alginate (<2%), sodium chloride (non-iodized NaCl)(<2%), sodium bicarbonate (<2%).
