Calling it the world's first energy gel is a bold statement. However, it is true because technically, traditional “gels” are water and carbohydrates mixed into syrups. The instructions state that you must consume them with water.
GEL 100 is completely different. It is a biopolymer matrix filled with a mixture of glucose and fructose (ratio of 0.8:1), allowing absorption of up to 100 grams of carbohydrates per hour.
It is made using hydrogel technology and six natural ingredients. It contains no colorants or preservatives and is available in 40 g portions containing 60% carbohydrates—a high weight-to-energy ratio.
Its taste is not very sweet, almost neutral, because the carbohydrates are encapsulated in hydrogel. So there is no need to take it with water.
ENERGY AND CARBOHYDRATES
Studies have shown that our body can consume up to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour. Recent scientific studies have shown that a fructose-to-glucose ratio of 0.8:1 allows even greater absorption—up to 100 grams per hour. GEL 100 was developed using this ratio and provides plenty of energy. One serving contains 25 grams of carbohydrates.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
GEL 100 is based on hydrogel technology. The hydrogel enables the smooth transport of carbohydrates through the stomach to the intestine, where water, salt and carbohydrates are absorbed.
Directions for use
Consume the gel a few minutes before, during and/or directly after activity.

Publié le 01/03/2022 à 10:27.Bonjour Premier test du Gel 100 lors dune sortie longue prépa marathon ce wkd. Étonne dans un premier temps par la texture du produit mais jai apprécié. Efficace pour terminer la séance mais je dois en prendre plus tôt, jai attendu 1h30 deffort, un peu tard.

Publié le 19/07/2021 à 17:42.Texture gel atypique mais très facile à manger sans écurer, même quand l'effort sature l'estomac. Ouverture facile mais qui gêne un peu l'ingestion si on la laisse solidaire du sachet, ou bien il faut l'arracher complètement au risque de la faire tomber...
