Energy Gel (37g) - Lemon Ginger
Finally, a truly resealable gel for consumption in several servings. Flip-top cap for one-handed use, practical when cycling, with no risk of losing it in nature. The packaging is washable and reusable with Mulebar eco-refills.
Brown rice syrup, with its high glycemic index (95), provides the immediate energy sought in a gel.
Agave syrup provides natural fructose and, with its low glycemic index (15), allows for a slower release of energy.
Lemon juice concentrate and ginger extracts are known to boost immune defenses and for their antioxidant effects. The recipe also contains natural caffeine from guarana, which supports cognitive functions (memory, attention, vision, reasoning) and may help burn fatty acids.
The Himalayan salt crystals provide electrolytes that improve hydration, along with numerous trace minerals. They also help reduce the risk of cramps.
Directions for use
Consume undiluted or diluted in water at a ratio of one gel per 500 ml of water DURING exercise.
